Amerigo is an environmental consulting firm that specializes in air permitting and compliance for the oil and gas industry. Established in 2011 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Amerigo has worked with operators in Texas, North Dakota, and Colorado. Our clients include major upstream and midstream operators, independent producers and private equity/energy investment firms. Our team has nearly 15 years of direct air permitting experience and has prepared 100+ air permits, minor/major/PBR. Technical quality is of the utmost importance to us and is managed by a thorough and experienced process backed by efficient junior staff.

Greg Goebertus, President

Greg has nine years of experience providing air quality services to industry clients, with an emphasis on the oil gas
industry. After leaving an air compliance group for a large consulting firm, Greg identified an opportunity to start Amerigo
in Austin and has supported a range of upstream operators with varying air compliance needs. His project experience
varies from M&A due diligence to major source permitting/compliance to emission inventories. Greg started his career in the field as an air compliance technician in the East Texas – North Louisiana Haynesville Shale. As president, Greg balances daily project work with service expansion and business development.

Greg holds a BS in Environmental Geoscience from Boston College.


Emmanuel Briseño, Air Scientist 2

Emmanuel has two years of experience with Amerigo’s air permitting and environmental compliance program for the oil and gas industry. Mr. Briseño’s project portfolio includes preparation of air permits for upstream and midstream facilities and annual GHG reporting under the MRR Subpart W. He is well‐versed in the process software tool ProMax and dispersion modeling software SCREEN3. Prior to joining the Amerigo team, Mr. Briseño attended the University of Texas at Austin where he worked on research concerning the stress dependent permeability of gas shales through experimental and data analyzing projects.

Emmanuel holds a BS in Biology and a minor in computer science and business from the Univrisity of Texas - Austin

Jocelyn Flores, Air Scientist 1

Jocelyn joined Amerigo after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S.A in General Physics. Since joining Amerigo in 2018, Ms. Flores has gained experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry through various air permitting and compliance projects. Specific project highlights include emission inventory and TV Part 71 support. She has also supported data management and emission calculations for the MRR Subpart W. She has experience with ProMax, EP Tanks, AutoCAD and MatLab.

Jocelyn holds a BSA in Physics from the Univrisity of Texas - Austin

Todd Sines, Air Scientist 1

Todd has performed for two years as the principle field‐based technician for Amerigo. Dedicated to a major corporation in the Eagleford, Todd supports client production goals through voluntary and regulated OGI inspections, data presentations, and facilitating remediation to meet strict deadlines. A field‐based role has provided Todd with proficient experience in upstream oil and gas operations and process equipment.

Todd is pursuing a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Texas - San Antonio
